Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons – MJDF
The MJDF qualification is a postgraduate diploma offered to surgeons who wish to become members of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons. The MJDF Examination is a two-part exam including both theory and practical assessment. MJDF is also highly regarded in many other places in the world including the Middle East, Europe, Turkey, and Singapore.
You must be a graduate of a medical school recognized by the Councils of the Royal College. Postgraduate medical training is not necessary to be eligible to apply but is recommended. You must be registered to practice dentistry in your country of residence.
Assessing knowledge and applied knowledge in the for a 1 paper exam consists of 15 MCQs (single best answer) with the duration of 3 hours
The Exam is available in Egypt at the British council
Fees of the exam £522 + £40 processing fees
It’s a clinical exam assessing the practical knowledge and communication skills
The exam consists of 14 stations, 3 of which will be preparatory and the rest will be assessed
Exam is available in Egypt
Fees of the exam £660 + £40 processing fees
Part 2 can be examined by another college (Ireland or Edinburgh ) with different fees
